Tiger Shroff (born as Jai Hemant Shroff; 2 March 1990) is an Indian film actor and martial artist who works in Hindi films. Son of actor Jackie Shroff, he made his film debut in 2014 with Heropanti, which earned him a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debutnomination. He then starred in the action drama Baaghi (2016), which earned over ₹1 billion (US$15 million) worldwide.Shroff was born as Jai Hemant Shroff on 2 March 1990to Indian film actor Jackie Shroff and Ayesha Shroff (née Dutt). He is the elder of two siblings, his sister Krishna Shroff is three years younger than him. Shroff is a heritage of a mixed ethnic group. From his paternal side, he is of Gujarati and Turkish ancestry and from his maternal side, he is of Bengali and Belgiandescent.
He did his schooling at American School of Bombay. Shroff helped Aamir Khan to build his physique for Dhoom 3. He also holds a fifth degree black belt in Taekwondo.
